I think Saskatchewan and Alberta should form their own country with their own constituion. The east has been plundering our provinces for too long and we have both suffered grievous injury. An independant country would have much better realtions with the u.s, and I think the new nation would gain instant recognition in Washington. We could create a country where property rights reign supreme and where we can make our own made in the west solutions for the problems of the day. With an independant country with basically unlimited economic freedom the possibilities are endless. History has shown from the time of Athens up until now the societies that have allowed the greatest amount of individual freedom have been the most advanced societies in the world. Is it an accident that in Athens, the world's first democracy, that greta strides were made in science, philosophy, medicine, etc.. Athens was the most advanced society on earth at the time. A free society allows free thought which leads t innovations. The U.S is the freeest society on earth today and therefore the mopst advanced as it has been since its inception.
